Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 4 McIntosh apples, cored and sliced ⅛ to ¼ inch thick
 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
 - 1 teaspoon granulated sugar (optional)
 - Cooking spray

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
 - In a large bowl, combine the apple slices with cinnamon and sugar (if using), tossing to coat evenly.
 - Lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
 - Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they do not overlap. You may need to use two baking sheets.
 - Bake the apples in the preheated oven for 2 to 3 hours, or until they are dry to the touch but still slightly pliable.
 - Remove from the oven and allow the apple chips to cool completely; they will become crisper as they cool.
 - Once cooled, store the apple chips in an airtight container at room temperature. They will stay fresh for up to 4 days.
